133 Million

133 million Americans have invisible, chronic illnesses and disabilities. Still, there is such a stigma surrounding them. Unhidden was created to change that.

Having dealt with an invisible illness since 2013, creator and founder, Megan Hillier felt something needed to be done to increase the visibility of invisible illness. Created in 2016, Unhidden was just a series of t-shirts. T-Shirts which helped open up a dialog between those with invisible illnesses and disabilities and their loved ones. Now we’re in 2019 and Unhidden is a full-on brand. Our main goal is to help people with invisible illnesses feel seen and heard through providing resources. All proceeds from our merchandise go back to research for these illnesses, as well as creating support programs

for those suffering.

our story

creator, megan hillier

Megan has lived with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome since 2013. Having dealt with negative attitudes surrounding the subject from family, friends, teachers, and colleagues, Megan decided to do something about it. She knew the attitudes she was getting was from a lack of understanding of her situation. Using her degree in Graphic Design, she created Unhidden aiming to decrease the stigma surrounding invisible chronic illnesses, as well as provide more information about them.
